Tamarac Recertification Submission

Tamarac does not currently have a publicly listed online portal for Building Safety Inspection Program (BSIP) submissions. All recertification packets must be submitted and tracked through the city’s Building Department.

Important: All reports must be signed and sealed by a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect. Ensure your project/application number is included in all communications.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Obtain Project/Application Number

Contact the Tamarac Building Department to start your recertification. You will be assigned a project/application number for tracking.

Prepare Documents

Prepare the required forms and inspection packets:
• Building Safety Inspection Submittal Form
• Structural Inspection Report
• Electrical Inspection Report
• Any supporting documentation or affidavits

Email Submission

Email your assigned application/project number and attach the completed packets to Rosemary.Fisher@Tamarac.gov for tracking and compliance review.

Pay Fees

Follow instructions provided by the Building Department to pay any applicable review fees. Confirm payment method with city staff.

Monitor Submission

Keep in contact with the Tamarac Building Department to track the review progress. Respond promptly to any requests for additional information or corrections.

Keep Records

Save or print approval confirmations and fee receipts for your records as proof of compliance with Tamarac’s Building Safety Inspection Program.
