Pembroke Pines Recertification Submission

Pembroke Pines requires all 40‑ and 50‑Year Recertification reports to be submitted electronically through the city’s online permitting portal (Development HUB / EnerGov). Paper copies are no longer accepted.

Important: All reports must be signed and sealed by a Florida‑licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect.

Step‑by‑Step Instructions

1

Create or Log In

Go to the Pembroke Pines Development HUB (EnerGov) portal and log in or create an account. This account will be used to upload your recertification documents and track the review process. Access the portal.

2

Prepare Required Documents

Make sure you have the following PDFs ready:
• Building Safety Inspection Submittal Form
• Structural Inspection Report
• Electrical Inspection Report
• Any required attachments or additional documentation

3

Upload Documents Online

In the Development HUB, upload each document separately into the correct category. Clearly name each file so the city reviewer can easily identify them.

4

Pay Review Fee

Pay the applicable administrative review fee (typically around $138.24 per report) through the portal during the submission process.

5

Address Repairs (if needed)

If the engineer identifies required repairs, obtain the necessary permits through the Development HUB for each discipline (structural, electrical, etc.) and upload updated reports once work is complete.

6

Monitor Submission

Track your submission status in the Development HUB. Respond promptly to any review comments or requests for resubmittal.

7

Keep Records

Once your submission is approved, save or print the approval confirmation and fee receipt. This serves as proof of compliance with the safety inspection program.
