Margate Recertification Submission

In Margate, buildings must comply with the Broward County Building Safety Inspection Program (BSIP). Recertification reports must be submitted through the City of Margate online portal.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Receive Notification Letter

Wait for the Margate Building Division to issue your notification letter assigning your project/application number.

Prepare Documents

Complete all required BSIP forms and inspection packets:
• Building Safety Inspection Submittal Form
• Structural Inspection Report
• Electrical Inspection Report
• Supporting documentation or affidavits

Login to Portal

Access the Margate Online Building Portal and log in or create an account to begin your submission.

Upload Reports

Upload all signed and sealed recertification documents under your assigned project/application number.

Pay Fees

Pay any applicable review or processing fees directly through the portal if prompted.

Monitor Status

Log back into the portal to track review status and respond promptly to any correction requests.
