Sunrise Recertification Submission

In Sunrise, buildings must comply with the Broward County Building Safety Inspection Program (BSIP). Recertification reports are submitted electronically through the ProjectDox system after a BSIP application is submitted and a record is created. Important: All reports must be signed and sealed by a Florida‑licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect. Ensure your project/application number is included in all submissions.

Step‑by‑Step Instructions

Submit BSIP Application

Contact the Sunrise Building Department to submit the Building Safety Inspection Program application and obtain your project/application number.

Receive Project Invitation

After your application is reviewed, the Building Department will send an invitation email to access the ProjectDox system for document upload.

Prepare Documents

Prepare all required packets for submission:
• Building Safety Inspection Submittal Form
• Structural Inspection Report
• Electrical Inspection Report
• Any supporting documentation or affidavits

Upload via ProjectDox

Log in to ProjectDox using the link in your invitation email and upload all signed inspection reports under the correct categories.

Pay Fees

Pay any applicable review fees as instructed by the Building Department through ProjectDox or other provided payment methods.

Monitor Submission

Regularly check ProjectDox for status updates or requests for additional information. Respond promptly to any city requests.
